AN UNFORGETTABLE DINNER INSPIRED BY CÉZANNE AT THE FOOT OF SAINTE-VICTOIRE

Posted on: Friday, May 23, 2025
As part of the Forum des Pionniers, organized by ESCAET and Travel-Insight, 130 tourism professionals from across France gathered for a truly special evening hosted by Provence Tourisme.

A long table was set in the heart of the vineyard at the Domaine de Saint-Ser, at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire, the iconic mountain so dear to Cézanne and emblematic of Provence.

This suspended moment, designed as an immersion into the landscape, culture, and cuisine of the region, was orchestrated by historian and chef Emmanuel Perrodin, who entrusted the preparation of the dinner to Michelin-starred chef Mathias Dandine, known for his sincere, terroir-driven cuisine.

For the occasion, Mathias Dandine and the team from La Bastide Bourrelly created the menu “A Stroll in the Land of Paul Cézanne”, a five-course journey inspired by the painter’s love of simple, authentic flavors, crafted with deep respect for the seasons, ingredients, and integrity of taste.

This menu will be available from June 3 to October 11, 2025, at La Bastide Bourrelly, as part of the Cézanne Year in Aix-en-Provence.
A perfect opportunity to continue the experience in another setting — with the same spirit.
